Taylor Lansdale hails from Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, where the rolling hills of horse country give way to the mountains of eastern Kentucky. His songs reflect a sense of “in-between,” with folk and bluegrass influences meeting heartland and southern rock drive. Think Isbell, Prine, and Petty. Pairing a piercing voice with emotionally honest songwriting, he has a knack for making listeners believe that his stories are their own.
